Large fields of soy beans have been destroyed by flooding, it looks like the rice crop may have also been damaged, and the cotton harvest is late. Sometimes we stay at Walmart. For the most part we find the people friendly, and a place nearby to feed Hampton. Many communities don't have enough stores, and buildings left empty, even in communities that don't have a Walmart. Walmart is good about security, and has the welcome mat out. When I get back real late to the bus I usually take the next day off, Hampton never minds, and its best to be rested because each day is a lengthy adventure.
