This is 8mm footage of the aftermath of a coal train derailment. I believe this was filmed in 1956. I also believe this was either in or near Sandusky, OH. Some of the markings that I was able to discern were NYC, PRR, N&W I inadvertently recorded some footage of some building construction at the end of the video.

This 8mm footage give you a brief in-car view of downtown Cleveland in the early 1960's. The Interbelt bridge was very new then. It was built in 1959. Though at the time it might have just been known as the I-90 bridge. I don't think I-71 had been completed yet.

I'm not sure what park this is. The guy I bought it from though it was Cedar Point. I really don't think it is. The Kiddie Coaster in the video is not the same as the one we know was at Cedar Point. It might be Erieview Park. The probability is that the park is in or near Ohio.

This is Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH. It is currently the 2nd tallest and fastest coaster in the world. It is 420 feet tall and goes 120mph. It opened in 2003 and currently gives over 1 million rides every year. Kingda Ka is the tallest and fastest coaster. But, it has over the shoulder restraints. Dragster only has a lap bar. I much prefer to ride Dragster.
