Growing up in the racist south...having to deal with the negativity and downright criminal opinions and activities of racists...from the first time I ever heard this song, in my band van on 85 S. in the racists Carolina's, I promised to always keep this song in my heart...at all times. I was there. I filmed this. You can hear me singing as the video continues. I could not stay quiet nor, stand still. I think it was one of the most beautiful moments of my life. But, not just the show ....the entire weekend. Meeting and being together with so many students from around the world..all who share the same compassion, passion, and will to give a voice to the voiceless. Go CIW and SFA!
