The Duke of Edinburgh was among hundreds of mourners who attended the funeral of the most senior British soldier killed by an Afghan policeman last month. More than 700 family and friends gathered to pay their respects to Regimental Sergeant Major Darren Chant of the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, who died along with four other personnel on November 3rd. Two weeks ago British military personnel quietly made a return to Iraq. Nearly a hundred people, mostly from the Royal Navy are in the country to help train Iraqi forces.
