As the holidays creep ever closer and the calendar reads December, we know winter is near, but sometimes it can be hard to tell in New Orleans. On Dec. 2 the school of science and engineering hosted the second annual Snow Day on Monroe quad. 6000 pounds of snow turned a patch of green into a field of white and students enjoyed snowball fights usually reserved for chillier climes.
