Sandhill Cranes stopping over at Jasper-Pulaski Indiana State Fish and Game Preserve first gather in viewing field at dusk, for photographers and other observers, including lots of kids, and only then go to their rooms at Swamp Hotel, after everyone finishes viewing and photograph session. Their leaders must realize that people come just to catch their performance! There are so many thousands of them that it is a wonder their kids don't get lost.....looking alike as they all do.......
