A baby has survived after his pushchair rolled onto the tracks as a train pulled into a station in Melbourne, Australia. The train had slowed right down as it pulled into the station and the six-month-old baby suffered only a bump to his head. CCTV of the incident was released to local media. A helium balloon which was floating over the US state of Colorado with a six-year-old boy reportedly inside has landed, in a drama broadcast on TV. US media reports say the boy was not found on board. Police are now said to be searching for him on the ground. The mushroom-shaped silver balloon, apparently made by the boy's father, reportedly reached heights of 7000ft. Seventeen motorcyclists were taken to hospital after they collided during a race on Weston-super-Mare beach. Spectator Anthony Norton took this video of the crash, which happened on Sunday at the Somerset event, that had attracted about 100000 spectators. It was subsequently cancelled. Two of the riders were seriously hurt and taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol for treatment.

Dean Gardner, 19, and Jason Fender, 22, both pleaded guilty at Swansea Magistrates Court on Monday to using intimidating behaviour or words on the night in question.
