Test video using the homemade camera dolly

This is test of the camera dolly I built (see other video) using parts from Home Depot and some kid's roller skates. It's a little jittery because some gunk built up on the wheels in a ridge in the center. I simply used some Lysol wipes and cleaned them back to new and wiped down the rails. That seemed to fix it in later videos.

Homemade video camera dolly (shot with a homemade steadycam)

Used a set of boys rollerskates for the wheels and the rest of the parts from Home Depot. Used 3/4" birch plywood for the base and 1.5" aluminum 90 degree stock. Added the pvc caps to hold the legs and added the bungee cords for stability. The added weights makes for smoother runs. The handle is an old Swiffer handle I found in the basement. I just drilled the end and screwed it to the base.
