Pledges in the Mahinda Chinthana fulfilled

Haul of LTTE weapons recovered

The Vavuniya Police Special Crimes Investigations Unit has recovered a haul of high-powered explosives of the LTTE. The recovery was made from two different places of the Vellamulliwaikal area in Mullaitivu. The reconstruction of the stairway from Nallathanni to Seetha Gangula on the access road to the Sri Pada Maluwa gets underway. The project is being mooted at the behest of the President.
