This is another plasma bulb experiment. In this experiment i used another, more spicy flyback and it generates very angry electricity. ;) In the film can be seen when i try to touch the bulb with bare finger, my finger got burnt. xd So i used a second bult and got thist unexpecticly fantastic plasma and light experience. :D

In this video i used a TV flyback driven cascade / voltage multiprier & stabilizer to generate some spark and plasma effects, but i just managed to split the light bulb i used in this experiment with a high voltage arc. :D

This is a simple plasma experiment using an ordinary light bulb and TV flyback transformer. To create a good plasma effect, the flyback transformer needs to be disk shaped, so just any flyback won't work. In this experiment i use 35VDC in the flyback's primary side and simple 2N3055-based driver. The electricity is so efficient that holdint the bulb still for a few seconds the arc drills it's way through the glass and splits the bulb. Electricity is beautiful! :D
