Elton John - I Don't Care (1978) With Sing-a-Long Lyrics!

From Elton John's 1978 album "A Single Man". Written by Elton John and Gary Osborne. As with all songs Elton wrote with Osborne, Elton wrote the music first, along with the title and chorus, so the lyrics were really a collaboration with Gary Osborne. Featuring musicians: Steve Holly (drums), Clive Franks (bass), Tim Renwick (guitars), Ray Cooper (tambourine), Elton John (piano & clavinet); backing vocals: Vicky Brown, Joanne Stone, Stevie Lange, Gary Osborne, Chris Thompson; orchestral ...

Elton John - Nice and Slow (1977) With Sing-a-Long Lyrics!

Originally recorded in 1977 with producer Thom Bell for "The Thom Bell Sessions". It was remixed by Elton and Clive Franks in 1979, but then shelved for 12 years and released in 1989 on "The Complete Thom Bell Sessions". Lulu (the Scottish singer) recorded a cover of the song in 1978 (I've posted it here on youtube!) on her Rocket Records release "Don't Take Love for Granted". So her version was actually the first release of this song! Written by Thom Bell with Elton John and Bernie Taupin ...

Elton John - Never Gonna Fall in Love Again (1980) With Sing-a-Long Lyrics!

From Elton's album "21 at 33" - which was actually Elton's 16th studio album, in spite of the fact that the title was supposed to mean 21 albums at the age of 33. Elton is sometimes generous in his counting! This song was written by Elton and Tom Robinson (famous for "Glad to be Gay"). Robinson's version was released first, as a single. I have posted it here on youtube! Check it out! Robinson's version is openly gay, using only male pronouns, while Elton's version surprisingly disguises the ...

Elton John's "Never Gonna Fall in Love Again" by Tom Robinson & The Voice Squad (1979)

Written by Elton John and Tom Robinson. The song appeared on Elton's 1980 album "21 at 33", but this is actually the original version! Sung and released as a single by Tom Robinson (famous for "Glad to be Gay") already in 1979. Robinson's version is openly gay, using only male pronouns, while Elton's version surprisingly disguises the orientation by using "she". This recording is taken from the original vinyl single!

Elton John & Sting - Across the Universe (Rainforest Concert 1998)

Rare audio recording from 1998's Rainfirest Foundation Concert at Carnegie Hall. Different artists sang Beatles songs. Elton John sang this John Lennon song, with harmony by Sting. Not a great rendition actually, but cool that they sang it!
