Micro Fugue in G Major

Micro Fugue in G Major

This is a short string quartet piece I wrote for an assignment given to me by a music teacher friend way back in 2006. One of his signature music elements were "micro" movements; this piece mirrors that style. The photo in this video is one I captured of the Sandia Mountains, taken from the Northeast Heights region of Albuquerque, NM. Gaiares - First Stage, Remixed in Reason 2.5

Gaiares - It's a great game and yes you NEED to play it. I played this game as a kid and was really impressed with the music in it, especially the theme from the first stage. I've remixed the music in Reason 2.5. I'm the one playing the game as well!! xd Gaiares Copyright Telenet Japan Co., Ltd. 1990 Copyright Renovation Products, Inc. 1990

Thunder Force III - Ellis

Thunder Force III - Ellis

This music is from the video game "Thunder Force III," copyright 1990 by Technosoft. It's an absolutely awesome game and it has equally awesome music. I've remixed the music from stage 5 of the game using Propellerhead Reason 2.5. The stage in question takes place on an "ice planet" called "Ellis." Listen, and behold the power of Reason!!! (LOL, seems I finally got decent quality audio!)

Si Bheag, Si Mhor - Music for Guitar, Violoncello, and Double Bass

I have always loved this tune by Turlough O'Carolan. I recorded this arrangement in December 2007 during my time in the high desert of New Mexico (That's where I took the photograph shown in the video). Highwind Takes to the Skies

Highwind Takes to the Skies

Ah, one of my favourite themes from a game I've never actually finished. This is the proverbial "Airship" theme from Square's Final Fantasy VII. I've re-orchestrated it in Reason 2.5. Listening to this orchestration, It's easy for me to get the feeling I'm soaring through the air - even on the Highwind itself. I must say, after re-transcribing this piece, I certainly have a better appreciation for Mr. Uematsu's music. "Highwind Takes to the Skies" by: Nobuo Uematsu From the video game Final ...

"Ode to Joy" theme - Beethoven, Symphony No 9 - 4 "Allegro Assai"

I made this little arrangement a few years ago to demonstrate the capabilities of Reason 2.5 and the Orkester Sound Bank included with it. As you'll hear, the results are pretty darn impressive. Ludwig van Beethoven Symphony No9 Movement 4, "Allegro Assai" (Yes yes I know. I took music out of context - so what) Created in Propellerhead Reason 2.5 Oh yeah, if you've never heard the entire work performed live.. DO IT! You'll never ever regret it! :D

Troto

Troto

Ok, where to start... As I understand, it's one of those tunes by some dude named "anonymous" a long time ago. Such is the case with a LOT of non-church music from the 13th century. I first heard this tune in a freeware game (Ahriman's Prophecy) and I thought it was pretty cool. I later heard it in a 1985 movie (Lady Hawke). "ocarinadiva" did a really great rendition of it too. So here's my take on it. Instrumentation: Flute, English Horn, Viola da Gamba, Timbrel, Frame Drum, and Side Drums ...

Channel Intro - November 8, 2009

Okay, I'm finally in! So yeah, this is my (undeniably cheesy but fixed!) channel intro. I hope to upload some music videos soon. For now I'm going to concentrate on orchestrations of video game music. (ok ok! it's cheesy!, I'll make a nicer one soon) See ya 'round!
