In this video we sum up this year with a comical look back at all my blunders and misfortunes which have occurred since I started youtube on February 10th 2009. Some are more obvious than others but take the last clip for example! Surely he could see that I was there? On the 5th November, the Great Central Railway held their annual Bonfirenight and Fireworks display at Quorn and Woodhouse Station. A perfect opportunity to obtain some night time footage! After some excerts from the firework display, we see Winter visitor ex.LMS Black 5 No.45231"The Sherwood Forester" enter the Station with it's train from Leicester then BR Standard 7 'Britannia Class' No.70013 "Oliver Cromwell" slip away in a cloud of steam and smoke. Beautiful!

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway on Wednesday 21st October 2009 following their massive Wartime Weekend. This video shows one of the last days of service from Pickering to Whitby before the line is divided in two to replace the late Bridge 30 between Goathland and Grosmont. During this work, the line will still operate services between Pickering and Goathland with non mainline certified engines. A visit to the Pickering Wartime Weekend and North Yorkshire Moors Railwya on Sunday 18th October 2009. The black and white clips at the start are all taken round Pickering itself where the rest are taken at the nymr's Southern Terminus. Over the weekend of 3rd-4th Oct 2009, the GCR held a mini taster gala of what was to come the following week at the Steam Railway Gala. Having a line up of three 2-8-0s meant that this was a one off combination of locos.
