Filmed on November 28, 2009 at the Long Island Railroad Station/Terminal at Jamaica, Queens, NY. Here we have LIRR GM DE30 (diesel) Locomotive #409 pulling six Kawasaki C-3 bi-level coaches (five trailers, one cab) for the Eastbound train to Montauk. This was on track 8 at Jamaica station. Say what you want about the DE/DM30 series - the EMD prime movers sitll sound great!

Filmed on the evening of November 22, 2009 on the Northeast Corridor overpass at Broadway & Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) in Woodside, NY. Here we see Metro-North's "Meadowlands Direct Service" headed North towards Larchmont, NY and eventually, New Haven, CT. Fans who attended the 1PM game between the New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons at Giants Stadium boarded a train at the new Meadowlands Station to Secaucus Junction and transfered to the Metro-North Meadowlands Service. Shot on November 22, 2009 on the NEC Overpass at Woodside, NY. This overpass leads to Hell Gate Bridge North and the East River Tunnels into Penn Station South. Here we have a North-bound Amtrak Northeast Regional rushing by on it's way to the next stop: Stamford, CT and eventually, Boston's South Street Station. The consist is that of an AEM7 "Toaster" locomotive and your typical eight-car set of Amfleets.

Filmed on November 22, 2009 on Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) and Broadway in Woodside at the overpass leading to the Hell Gate Bridge of the old New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad. Here we have a South-bound Amtrak Northeast Regional train en route to Penn Station. In the consist is an unidentified AEM7 locomotive and eight (8) Amfleet cars. You may also notice on Broadway an Orion VII Next Generation (NG) model bus heading West on the Q18 route.

Shot on October 24, 2009 at a wet Garrison station on Metro-North's Hudson Line. Here we have Poughkeepsie-bound Metro-North P32AC-Dual Mode Genesis #219 with a Consist of MNRR and Connecticut DOT Shoreliners on teack 1. The track change you hear about was the next Soutbound due to the Fall Foliage excursion train at Cold Spring and the need to clear track down to Tarrytown. BTW I rode this train to Cold Spring.

Filmed on a rain-soaked October 24, 2009 at Metro-North's Garrison station on the Hudson Line. Here we have a South-bound train coming in with Connecticut DOT Shoreliner III #6222 and Metro-North P32AC-Dual Mode Genesis #221 headed for Grand Central Terminal.

Filmed on a rain-soaked October 24, 2009 at Metro-North's Garrison station on the Hudson Line. Here we have GE P32AC-Dual Mode "Genesis" locomotive #229 (228-231 are all in the New Haven "mcguiness" livery, while 200-227 are in Metro-North paine - either old or new) leading a pack of seven Bombardier MNRR Shoreliner cars - a mix of I, II & III series with a Shoreliner III as the South control cab. I apologize for the rain drops on my camera lens.

Taken on October 24, 2009 at a drenched Garrison station on Metro-North's Hudson Line. Here we have Amtrak's Empire Service headed North towards Albany with a P32AC-Dual Mode "Genesis" locomotive (the only numbers I could see were 7 & 3) pulling five Amfleet cars through some beautful autumn foliage. Notice the poor condition of my umbrella at 0:01-0:02.
