The hummingbirds keep coming back to my bird feeder, which I think is a good sign! There were at least three of them around this morning, but I only managed to film one of them. Unfortunately, the screen is closed to stop the dog getting out, so the video is a little spoilt.

Here I am taking off from Reid Hillview (KRHV) at the start of my flight to Columbia (O22) with dad. Not a bad day, though a little hazy. We took off from runway 13L, then flew left downwind and departed towards Calaveras.

We recently bought a hummingbird feeder, and put it just outside the window. In the past couple of days there has been some visiting. It stayed for maybe 30 seconds (took us 20 seconds to get the camera up and running. Hopefully we'll see some more in the future. The internet tells me it will be an Anna's Hummingbird.

Took a flight in a Cessna 172 from Reid Hillview to Columbia. Lovely flight, with great conditions. This is the landing. I think I made an OK approach, but I really screwed up the landing - way too hard.
