I wonder what the story is with this 45. As soon as I heard it I could tell that this was a George Goldner production. The label shows "Distributed by Gone Records" and it has RealGone Music as the publishing company. Was Bernice a short lived Goldner label, or did Goldner sell them the masters for some reason?

Nice sound by The Paramounts. I'm not sure when this one's from. The Broadcast label was started by R&B collectors sometime in the late 60's or early 70's. They also owned the Jet label. I'm not sure if this is an unreleased track from the 50's or early 60's that they bought, or if this was recorded in the 70's. If you've heard some of the other stuff recorded in the 70s and issued on the Jet and Broadcast labels, you'd swear the stuff was recorded in the 50s. ... "Doo Wop" DooWop DooWopp ...
