Ohio Wesleyan University students sang madrigals by one of the first opera composers during three performances of Opera Theatre on Nov. 6-8, 2009 in Jemison Auditorium inside Sanborn Hall, 23 Elizabeth St. Madrigals from Claudio Monteverdis Book 7 Concerto and Book 8 Madrigals of Love and War were performed in the original Italian language. Forty-five 5th grade students and their teachers from St. Mary School in Delaware toured the Jane Decker Arboretum at Ohio Wesleyan University on October 26 with senior student Emily Esker. They were also greeted by Ohio Wesleyan University President Rock Jones. The Jane Decker Arboretum features more than 105 woody plants and trees, and dates back to the 1870s.
