The night before this day, I got word that the Illinois Central E9(A)'s were sitting in Markham Yard (CN's yard in Homewood, IL.), coupled onto three IC passenger cars. Today, we have UP GP40-2 1531, GMTX GP38AC 2163 and UP GP40-2 1501. I also really liked the friendly wave from the conductor. This train used to normally run during the night, however, it's lately been arriving into Joliet, northbound during the late morning to early afternoon.
