The Verizon train took another trip up on the Mainline durring last Friday night, I managed to catch it running east at 11pm. Comet IV Cabcar #5026 leads the verizon ad set and the newly repainted 4213 shoving. The next day, 4213 was sent to the MMC for a unknown reason, and the Medowlands Service ran the 4202 on the point of this train. Enjoy! 2 Ex-Conrail C40-8Ws lead loaded Autorack Q-268 southbound past the Milepost 38.4 detector. The sunlight would be even better on the east side of the track, where we could have set up, the plan to chase this train to Ridgefield Park was the only thing that held us to the west side. Enjoy! What could be the final month for the original EL signals at CP Central Valley opens on a cloud November Sunday, as train 73 (the train we paced up the NY Thruway) accelerates around the curve and through the signal. New signals on both sides of the interlocking are up and wired, just the completion of the east end out the siding is needed. enjoy! Trains 1111 and 1110, the test train for a MMC fix-er-up job comes and goes at HHK. Leading, is the "new" PL42AC #4025, and trailling is the train's daily set of 4108-5-5012. A comet IV cab and a double header, not bad. They are boarding westbounds on trk 1 because of trackwork at Hollywood ave crossing on trk 3. Enjoy! Perfect timing in arriving at Ho-Ho-Kus allowed me to catch this equipment move to hoboken.
