2009 Run Amuck Story
Participants needed a towel and a change of clothes for Run Amuck on June 20, 2009. The approximately four mile course will featured a variety of obstacles including hills, a tire dash, and plenty of opportunity for runners to get dirty!

Healthy Kids Fun Run
The annual Marine Corps Marathon Healthy Kids Fun Run will be held on October 24, 2009 in the Pentagon North Parking Lot. Children ages 6-13 are invited to participate in the one-mile just-for-fun event. Registration is just $5 and participants receive a t-shirt, medal and snacks at the finish line. 2009 Run2Register 10K
The R2R course began and ended at Butler Stadium. Runners enjoyed a 10K course which featured both the roads and trails of Marine Corps Base Quantico. Upon completion, eligible runners were provided with an opportunity to register for the 34th Marine Corps Marathon, four days before the opening of online registration.
