Roger McGuinn - Beach Ball Party (surfing music)
Port Angeles, Wa. November 1, 2009. In the early 1960s, before the Byrds had been founded, Roger was a song writer for Bobby Darrin. Seeking to capitalize on the popularity of surfing music popularized by Jan and Dean and by the Beach Boys, he wrote this song.

Seattle & Eastside Singles meetup, Oct 3, 2009 bonfire & corn starch
This clip took place on October 3, 2009, at the Seattle Singles and Eastside Singles meetup "A Bonfire for the Hell of It" at Golden Gardens. After the fire had been burning I took cornstarch, which was purchased to mix up a non-Newtonian fluid, and blow it (using a pump designed to inflate river rafts) into the fire to create flare-ups.

This takes place at the Seattle and Eastside singles meetup "A Bonfire for the Hell of It", Golden Gardens, October 3, 2009. I am using a impact ignited hand held flare to start the fire. In the background you can see the daughter of one of our participants playing in the non-Newtonian fluid that I prepared before the bonfire.

Cloris Leachman at the Port Townsend Film Festival, Sept. 26, 2009
Academy Award winning actress Cloris Leachman was the guest of honor at the 10th annual Port Townsend, Wa., Film Festival, Sept. 24 - 27, 2009. On the 26th the festival held its very special evening where they showed "The Last Picture Show" followed with a Q&A with Ms. Leachman. This short video shows the last question which is about her appearance on "Dancing With the Stars". When I have time I will split up the longer video of the entire Q&A session and load the segments onto this host....
