December 18, 2009 Offshore ride from Camp Pendleton to Catalina Island. Half way on the channel crossing the mega pod of dolphins turned and started to follow my path. I stopped at watched the mile long procession of hundreds of dolphins, pulled out my camera and filmed this short clip. Then went on my way. I often see the mega pod offshore, healthy and doing well. They love following and chasing the boat bow and stern.
