As title said, here is me comparing my two guitars , both with a Jimmy Page pickups spec at least. First, excuse my playing, I got a flu last days and did not feel well! This is a first attempt to get close to the Edge sound with a gear totally different from his. He's known to use clean Fender Stratocaster + Vox AC30 to get cristal and bright tones, so the overdrive mode. As you read, I've LUCKILY found this Jimmy Page Burstbucker bridge pickup (thanks S.!) and installed on my new Epi Custom Black Beauty 3. You can hear the difference comparing this vid with the others where I use the gibson: this JP bridge burstbucker is not so strong output, but reeeeally open, cristal and clear, almost twangy. Hi everyone. I'm trying to get Jimmy Page sound with this new pair of pickups. I've abandoned the JP wiring because it was quite useless, especially on live gigs, and now my guitar is wired as Page's (I' ve left the out of phase push-pull only). I think the neck and middle position sounds quite good but the bridge could be better. How do it sounds to your ears?
