Jade Plays: Shadowrun (part 1)
Welcome to Shadowrun; an obscure RPG for the SNES based on the tabletop game of the same name; sort of a cyberpunk version of D&D. While it's supposed to be set in Seattle in the year 2050, fantasy elements such as orcs, elves, and magic exist here alongside advanced technology. There are plenty of parallels to The Matrix as well, but Shadowrun actually preceeded the movie by several years.

My next major playthough is a rather obscure SNES title, but one that I am quite fond of, a type of game I've never seen before or since. This is Shadowrun, a SNES adaptation of a tabletop RPG of the same name; which crosses D&D-style fantasy with cyberpunk elements. Another version was released for the Genesis under the same name, though the game itself is much different, and not as good IMO.
Jade Plays: Toad's Christmas Adventure
Playing through a very short rom hack this time. This is Toad's Christmas Adventure, a rom hack of Super Mario Bros. It's a pretty simple hack; it's only one world long, and it's not even that long or difficult. But I don't think it was intended to be either; just a cute Christmas-themed hack.

Jade Plays: Rockman Exile (part 7)
The journey draws to a close, but is not about to go down without a fight. Overall, I like this hack. Most of the game is very difficult, but not to terribly obscene levels. The last few Wily levels though take it to that point and beyond.
