This was my first venture into the Halloween Bike ride, using a Canon digital camera for video recording. My usual method of editing clips together is Adobe Premiere, but the format used for these clips (AVI) wasn't compatible. Not until the summer of 2009 did I make use of another editing program, Adobe After Effects, to finally put the clips together. Enjoy!
A few things I'd like to say about musical accompaniment blaring from elevated woofers all along Memorial Drive during Boston Pops' Fourth of July fireworks - 1) it can be louder than the fireworks themselves, depending on how close you are to a speaker 2) some selections are painfully cheesy to listen to. Fortunately, I was a good distance away from the nearest speaker, and I preferred this song from "Grease" to some country song played earlier (No copyright infringement intended, mind you)....

Opening of Paul Poundstone's standup at the Asperger Association of New England (AANE)'s "Laugh Out Loud" 2009 Benefit Gala, held at the Boston Marriott Newton Hotel in Auburndale, MA on May 9, 2009. This was preceded by a live auction in which several bids went extraordinarily high, as mentioned in Paula's opening remarks. On her reference to Curt Schilling - earlier that evening, he & his wife Shonda made speeches as honorary co-chairs.
