Thursday afternoon 10/8/09 shortly after leaving Bermuda on the Norwegian Majesty -- the cabin was on Deck 3, meaning the window you see would be at least 25 feet above the water level if the seas were calm. I've taken 19 cruises, and this afternoon was at least tied for the bumpiest of all!

The angelfish - a respectable size - either didn't see the moray or didn't consider it a threat. Given the eel's size, I'm not sure the angel's blase attitude was justified, but the eel let it slide.

A large green moray decides to get "up close and personal" with Marcy and James (shifting position in the reef gave them a surprise). Sorry for the shakycam...there was lots of surge.

Following a trumpetfish around the top of the rig.
Shot this on a fantastic dive 8/9/09 with Sea Experience at Tenneco Towers off Fort Lauderdale, FL. When Marcy, one of my buddies, points out the rather immense Goliath grouper about 30 seconds in, note my exclamation through my reg...you can get an idea of the size of the big guy by watching for the diver in the background just outside when the fish turns and swims away.
