I've never seen this dog when I pass this way everyday. He's very, very skinny ... Clearly hungry. I thought it was a feral dog at first, but it came to me when called and sat when I told him to ... 3 times. I took him to the shelter, hoping his owner is looking for him. He has a line around his neck from a rope or chain ... Someone either lost him or dumped him ... Sad either way. I've gotta go back to the shelter and check on him, such a sweet pup.

And low and behold ... They like EATING tomatoes. In fact, they LOVE eating tomatoes ... They can't get enough tomatoes! That plant is specifically for them, but I don't see ANY tomatoes in our future any time soon. That's okay, I love seeing their true appreciation. :-)

It's one of those things I hardly notice anymore ... Chickens everywhere ... EVERYWHERE ... But I've never seen a mama chicken with all her babies at the gas station on a really busy street, with her tail fanned out and struttin' about ... Sooooo cute!

Diving at Cane Bay on Sunday, amazing to see all the fish, big and small. It was a bit of a rough dive ...normally it's like dropping into a lake. This time, not the case ... but still a great dive, I can hardly wait til next time. :)

I took my sweet pup, Barklie, to the beach ... what a beautiful day. He was hesitant about getting in the water at first, eventually he really loved it. We'll be making many, many, many more trips to the beach together soon.

This lizard was sittin' in my orchid plant, minding his own business ... just sheddin' and eating the dried, nasty skin ... gross! It's pretty amazing how much creepy stuff I find in my little island paradise ;)

Bubba is one of our many cats that adopted us. Can't remember exactly when he arrived (we have about 14 that have adopted us) but he is the sweetest cat EVER! He never picks fights ... That's rare, and unfortunately gets his butt kicked on a fairly regular basis :( He's blind in one eye, I feel bad about that, I think it happened when I put out a ton of slug bait in the flowerbed. But he is just as sweet as he can be with his whiny/pathetic "meow" ... Sooooooo sweet!
