Puerto Rican Panorama interviewed Sr. Nancy Hagenbach and Gloria Rodriguez-Soto about their work with Providence Center, a ministry of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus. For more than 100 years, the Sisters of the Holy Child served the parishes of St. Edward and St. Bonaventure in the Fairhill/West Kensington section of Philadelphia. When the parishes were closed in 1993, the Sisters founded Providence Center.

Sisters and SHCJ Associates went on a Pilgrimage to a place that is very near and dear to the Society's heart and very important in the life of Cornelia Connelly, Foundress of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus. Cornelia lived in Grand Coteau, La. from 1838-1843.
