Since the official opening in September, it's business as usual at the new Harper Adams dairy unit. The 400-strong herd have now had chance to settle into their surroundings, including a 40-point rotary parlour and spacious new accomodation blocks. Harper Adams is delighted to have welcomed Honorary Fellow HRH, The Princess Royal to the University College Campus. Final year students from the agriculture and animals courses displayed their final year projects in the form of a poster last week. The poster fair gave them an opportunity to explain their projects and aims to interested members of staff and fellow students.

This week's open afternoon at Harper Adams proved to be extremely popular with visitors from Ireland. Prospective students and their parents were treated to a talk from Harper Ireland Chairman, Desmond Connolly, and the chance to speak to current students from their area. It's hoped that enrolment in September will see a record number of students from Ireland choosing to study at the University College.

Bringing together a wide range of prospective employers and businesses from the sector, it provided students a chance to source out future job prospects and discover more about the opportunities available.
