Training for a 30 second free handstand

A 30 second free handstand is about one quarter way up the gymnastic static handstand scale. Must be doable. Well here we go. Probably another 4 to 6 months to go.

I started training for a straddle front lever hold about 2 months ago and was quite excited to get this far so quickly. Here are some training tips to get a to 10 second FL hold (straddle). I am 68 years old (6' 1", 169 lbs), so age apparently does not have to be an excuse.
