Georgian people protest against Saakashvili's propaganda TV GBP presented by Daniel Wicharz
24.04.09 10:40 Last night passed without incidents outside the Georgian Public Broadcast on Kostava Street, which is blocked due to the opposition rallies. The opposition has placed improvised cells and tents there, urging the Public Broadcast to cover the political situation in the country without bias. They also demand resignation of the GPB director general Levan Kubaneishvili. The leaders of the opposition finished delivering speeches at 9 pm and only several dozens of protestors stayed their last night. The only incident occurred when a vehicle tried to break threw the barricades. The protestors stopped the car and made the driver go back.

Georgian people rally for free elections in Georgia. Saakashvili must step down
24.04.09 18:36 Opposition protest rally has been resumed in Rustaveli Avenue. Opposition leaders are addressing their supporters assembled outside the Georgian parliament. The protest rally started half an hour late. The leaders have made no statements so far regarding their future action plans. Only ne statement has been made that the rally organizers are waiting for their supporters from West Georgia and hence additional improvised cells have been installed in the Rustaveli avenue. The opposition leaders say they are peaceful manifestants and trying to change the violent government without any violence. The rally members also said some citizens refuse to participate in the protest rally fearing the government and fearing that they may loose their jobs. Leaders are addressing the rally members outside the parliament now and they will presumably present their action plans later.

Saakashvili's Regime assaults own people in the streets of Tbilisi
25.04.09 17:37 An incident has occurred in Chitadze Street, Tbilisi. Opposition activists arrived from Batumi town, Adjara Region say they, as well as the improvised cells have been shot from the building of the former Security Council of Georgia. A Conservative Party member has been shot from a pneumatic gun. The bullet lodged in one of the rally members` face and he has been slightly injured in consequence of this. The activists accuse the government of the occurrence.

The Sukhumi TE-24 military boat of the Coast Guard of the Georgian Border Police left for Turkey from Poti port Saturday. The 18-member crew will be participating in rescue exercise during ten days. After the exercises are finished, the crew of the boat will give trainings to other Georgian sailors. The exercise will be over on May 5.

Last night the occupants unloaded two echelons of heavy military hardware, mobilized military boats in the Abkhazian waters. Four boats are patrolling the coasts of Ochamchire and Primorski. In addition, Russia has deployed additional border guards along the administrative lines. Over 1200 soldiers of the 58-th army of the Russian forces have arrived to Abkhazia during the past two days. Armament has been also delivered to Abkhazia with 65 Ural trucks. The occupants have occupied administrative offices, schools and ambulatories in Ochamchire, Okumi, Achigvara and Pichori districts.
