Woodspring Apartment Fire
A fire early Saturday morning destroyed 12 units at the Woodspring Apartments in Florence. Firefighters were called to the complex on Mount Zion Road around 3 am Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries from the fire. There's no word on the extent of their injuries. Others were saved from possible injury by neighbors who went door-to-door, in some cases kicking in doors, to alert sleeping residents.
