Eat This- Grindhouse
A short film made during first year in film technology. Colour correction done in Adobe After Effects, film scratches were placed over the footage and keyed out usinf track mattes. The footage was de-saturated with hue and saturation controls and a blood spatter was added to the frying pan hit which was slowed down and a camera shake was added with a layer effect called 'the wiggler'

Shed explosion
A short animation of a shed exploding, made in Adobe After Effects. This was used as a test for a later animation. An image of the shed and background were found online and cut-out in Photoshop. A layer effects of shatter was added to one layer of the shed to make it appear as if it is exploding. A secind layer of the shed was created which looks like the remnants of the explosion. 3D wall blood
A short animation created in Adobe After Effects. 3D layers were created to make the wall and a camera was animated to make the pan across the composition. Layers of blood splatters were parented on the wall and the layer mode of classic colour burn was applied. A light was then added to shine onto the wall and craete more depth in the composition. Wheat field animation
A short animation created in Adobe After Effects, based on the book illusions by Richard Bach. The images of the planes were found on the internet and cut out in Photoshop and are speciific to the ones which feature in the book. Positioning keyframing was used to make the plane fly and land in 3D space. Two layers of wheat were added to create depth. hallway zoom
A short animation of a slow zom down a dark hallway. This was inspired by the book the shining and is testing work for my final assignment. Illusions feather title squence
Title sequence created for the book illusions by Richard Bach. Created in Adobe After effects. The text was created in Adobe Photoshop and then imported and keyframed with opacity, and a glow effect was added to make it shine. The feather again was created in Photoshop and imported into After Effects. Positioning keyframes were created to make the feather float down the screen. golden section experiment animation
A short animation created within Adobe After Effects. This demonstrates the mathmatics of the golden ratio and how it carries on for infinity. Footage of clouds was imported and then duplicated and layered on top of itself in varying sizes. The motion was created with posiitoning keyframes.
opening montage
An opening montage created in adobe after effects for a first year university film. A layer of tv static with reduced opacity was created and pictures were found on the web and cross faded. The 3d animation of blood cells was created in 3ds max and imported into a particle system in after effects. The hallway zoom demonstrates colour correction and layer modes. The flash was created by increasing the exposure.
