Wrote the song after the 1992 Los Angeles riots which I had to commute between Rosemead through the 10 freeway to get to home to Marina Del Rey. I did have problems in the city but, I did get help one night from some helpful guys when my car failed. I run regularly through the Blue Line (train) between Long Beach and downtown LA, at 5am.
