SMK standard XS78 .22 Take I Shooting as it came and after some mods. Upgraded with GMAC sighted silencer adaptor and bolt handle from www.gmaccustomparts.com Switched the deluxe triggergroup and stock with the .177 QB Deluxe. Tweaked this XS 78 with help from the lads @ http The second Chrony string shown was made before tapering the valve stem and making the piercing pin disk dia smaller. A new chrony string to follow aswell as grouping @ 10 meter using a 4x scope.

QB78 Deluxe Take IV: Indoor 10 meter 10 shot groups (2 paper targets) using JSB flatheads and JSB domed pellets. 10 Shots on the chrony using Gamo Pro Match .177 7.87 grain flatheads.

QB78 Deluxe Take III. Replaced the hammerunit shims with a piece of Crosman hammer spring. Enlarged the probe porthole earlier but forgot to take a pic so that's in the vid as well. This one is about shooting indoor, 10 meter, 50 pellets and the results. Got about 47 good shots from two powerlets I kept in my pocket 15 minutes before starting this shoot. QB 78 Deluxe Take II, fitted a home made bipod rail, mounted an Airforce bipod, did some be-burring, polished the hammer spring unit, preloaded the hammerspring with washers, resealed the barrel and did some shooting afterwards. EDIT: REMOVED THE WASHERS. Inserted a piece of a Crosman hammerspring instead, work like a charm!!!

My new QB78 Deluxe, allready fitted a new breech seal and trigger spring. Charlie da Tuna offers a clear tuning guide on his website so tweaking it is on my to-do list. You can also look at the Youtube vids made by Archer airguns and Rick Eutsler (airgunweb). Make sure to check and join the UK Chinese Airgun Forum. Hope to fit the iron sights of the standard QB78 soon so it looks more like a Crosman 167. Have had this one abt 24 hours now and must say I am extremely happy with it....
