Irving Kaufman - "If You Can't Tell the World She's a Good Little Girl, Just Say Nothing At All"

Rare early electric 78rpm recording by the great Irving Kaufman, of this very early song by Sammy Fain. It dates from September 1926 and its B side (Take in the Sun, Hang out the Moon) is actually recorded via the acoustic process. For the second chorus, the orchestra stops and Kaufman accompanies himself on the Banjo and swings it a little bit, much as he perhaps did in his Vaudeville act. ---------------------------------- Irving Kaufman was born Isidore Kaufman in Syracuse New York ...
