Man Run Over by Tractor
On Monday, December 21, 2009, Baytown EMS and Baytown Fire Department responded to the scene of an accident on Morales Street off Wade Road in Baytown, Texas. A 65-year-old male was injured when he was run over by his tractor. He sustained a severe laceration to his arm, as well as injury to his chest and pelvic area. He was air lifted to Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Fire at Walnut Ridge Condos
Early Saturday morning, December 19, 2009, Baytown Fire Department responded to the scene of a fire at the Walnut Ridge Condominiums on Ward Road in Baytown, Texas. The building effected by the fire consisted of eight units . Several of the units were totally destroyed and the others were severely damaged. Investigators were working to determine the cause of the fire at the time of this report. The fire was believed to be the result of an an electrical problem.
