Bláfjallahryggur - Ólafsskarðshnúkar 051209
The Hiking Club Toppfarar hiking Bláfjallahorn, Bláfjallahrygg and Ólafsskarðshnúka on the 5th of December 2009, in the darkest month of the year. Hiking most of the time in a heavy wind and sleed and no view, so we had more or less gone wet and cold the first hours. In this video the clouds suddenly cleared and we could enjoy the splendid view over the massif at Jósepsdalur in the end of our trip. Total of 12 km in 4:47 hours up 703 m with a total ascend of 952 m and descend of 1184 m....

Toppfarar syngja afmælissönginn til Björns Matthíassonar þriðjudagskvöldið 8. desember á æfingu á Esjunni í myrkri og vindi en Björn var vant við látinn erlendis og félagar hans ákváðu að óska honum til hamingju með afmælið gegnum youtube.

Toppfarar on a four day trip to the highlands in northeast of Iceland to hike the "queen of Icelandic mountains" Herðubreið. Here hiking around Lake Askja which is a big crater at about 220 m deep. This was a total of 24,9 km long walk up to 1.530 m for over 10 hours with a bath in Lake Víti and a lot of stroll on the way. Hóls- and Tröllatindar - the 2nd peak - 071109
Arriving at the second peak of three at Hóls- and Tröllatindar in Snæfellsnes, this one without a name but could probably be counted for as one of the "Tröllatindar" and then the highest one at 938 m since the Tröllatindar-ridge is just below 900 m.
