A quick "fly over" of the heart... Final coats are being applied now and dialing in the details...
Latest update on the SF Heart Project. You may notice that I sent some of the sailboats in the foreground packing as they were pulling focus away from the central collection of boats and were just making the piece feel a bit crowded. Course correction (pun intended) is a staple of developing and working a painting - especially if that painting is on a 400 lb heart. In this shot I'm finally bringing in the slightly reddish gray that is the 'land' of the city of SF.
