Here I combined 2 artists' creations - Poetry & Native American Flute. I find the music fits perfectly with the lyrics.... (proper credit is given in the video)... these two creations were looking for each other, and I played match-maker. *smile My contribution is the 'make-up - hair extensions - dresses' of the cartoon lady and the general coloring and movement of the video. "Love Me Tender", Nana Mouskouri, artistic video
Nana Mouskouris beautifully singing the popular song "Love Me Tender". Instead of a 'still-photos' slideshow of my various ways of doing art, these pieces are in this video - with my way of adding movement in the editing - 'talking' the lyrics. About these particular examples of my art (original drawings, scanned into the computer, and then changed sometimes in the overall color): These are of 'creatures' - butterflies and birds being my favorite subject. However, while I can make/draw with colored pencils birds and butterflies directly as a photograph, which is called illustrating, I believe, and which I did with my first birds.... I did them 'my way' a few years ago, not lately, as too busy playing with computer programs :) and 'my way' with birds and butterflies is: the eyes are googley-eyed bigger, no birds have those big eyes, neither do butterflies. But I like it, makes them 'mine'... Also, as I am a bit silly when I 'play' like that (like a child), I also create 'hairdo's' on...

"Love Changes Everything", Nana Mouskouri, artistic video for Valentine's Day
the transformative powers of love to beauty: in this beautiful song by Nana Mouskouri and her gorgeous voice... and I tried to come close to that visually, by making my art and photography dance to it... shimmer to it... which is, of course impossible to do, 100%. ~~~ (PS: The city vistas are my photographs of the office towers here in this city - I just love the kind of towers that mirror the clouds and other buildings close-by... Of course I help that along when I edit a video. The other city, beginning and end, is my German home - harbor - city (not a photograph but a post card) ~~~ Previously, I was just starting to learn editing visuals to look better than 'just' slide shows. That 'was my aim' to start with. Well, I know the software quite a bit better now... and this is the improved version.

These visuals are my modern art example 'talking' the lyrics ... set to the lovely voice of Nana Mouskouri performing this beautiful song. Modern art or flowers/birds: I love 'talking' visually in symbolic geometric patterns or - also symbolically - 'through flowers', which is a German expression ("durch die Blume sprechen") ~~~ Previously, I was just starting to learn editing visuals to look better than 'just' slide shows. I loved the melody first, then researched the words (as I don't speak Hebrew), then tried to speak them, then found the English translation... and I translated that into German (So, this song is mainly Hebrew with a bit of English and German towards the end of the song)... and a good internet...
