I played this on PC first time around but the Speccy version isn't all that different. Spent hours on it back when I first got a PC. I played the Speccy version through a few times and every time I'd get to the last bit and put my code in and it wouldn't teleport me away. God knows what I was doing wrong but I gave in and this walkthrough is off of the rzx archive.

In my quest for speed I figured I should have a go at some more Maiden but I'm not sure I picked the right song with this. I thought the solo might be fun to learn but its just a load of really fast pull offs and not all that interesting. This game tried to fit several different gameplay styles into one package. The graphics aren't too bad for a Speccy but none of the sections are brilliant. I liked it back when it came out for all that. It came with two seperate programs and you had to complete the first to get a code to access the second. The plot is something about having to rescue a hero who has been taken captive by aliens. This is the first programs worth of gameplay.
Levels 1-4 of Nebulus. This game has some of the best graphics on the Speccy although the C64 version is still a mile better. The gameplay isn't too bad either but the single button for jump/fire is a pain. In Nebulus, you are playing some sort of undersea council planning department employee who has discovered some towers that haven't got the proper paperwork. The aim of the game is to carry a bomb up to the top of 8 towers and blow them up.

The final game in the Jack & The Beanstalk series. I'm glad to say the invisible holes in the floor are gone this time although the colour scheme is worse than ever. The aim of the game is to travel round your house collecting either treasure or rubbish your builders have left around (depending on which instructions you believe).

Something a bit different this time as I attempt to play Rob Hubbards classic C64 theme. Learning this has been the most fun I've had with a guitar. The slightly cheesy backing track is courtesy of Martin Dodd. Having had trouble with Phantoms 140 bpm I probably shouldn't have gone for this at 180 bpm but I surprised myself a bit and its not turned out that bad. I thought this game looked worth a go after seeing Spinny's posts recently. I like the colourful backgrounds. I also like being able to finish it in 2 1/2 minutes. Near enough everything else about it is awful though. The collision detection is dreadful and if you walk on the wrong bits of screen (which bear little relation to what you can see) you die instantly. Unbelievably, there was another sequel after this.
