August 2008 - Portola Valley Solo Hike
n the summer of 2008 I bought a ton of backpacking equipment and went out with some friends to enjoy the outdoors. One of my goals was to do a couple of solo overnight trips in the redwoods. This is a "documentary" from one such trip. One note: I didn't think of the documentary idea until about halfway through the trip. This is why helmet cams were invented! It's tough to drive the horse and take a video. It gives you just a small taste of our backyard course. I made this video in August of 2008. On the 3rd day of our yatra after reaching India from London we were going to Barkot on our Char Dham yatra and when we passed Musoori on the way we stoped at the Kempty water fall for a little while and I was not told by my guide or the driver about this fantastic fall when we started the journey on that day and there for I was not ready with my changing cloths etc.I still jumped in the water and enjoyed".Make hay while sun shines."
