An on-ride/off-ride video taken in 2007 of the AstroTower at the now defunct Astroland Amusement Park in Coney Island, NY. The tower stood at 270 feet and the views at the top were truly incredible. The tower still remains on site even though Astroland's rides were removed in 2008; hopefully this ride can run again someday! Song is 'Uska' by London Elektricity

I've noticed that whenever the wind blows, the Astrotower makes this eerie (and very loud) noise. One suspects that the wind gets inside the 250-foot long tube and reverberates like crazy.

this is a video taken on 9/3/7 here in Astroland, Coney Island. The Astrotower is a sightseeing ride that takes you 270 feet up and spins around to give you a 360 degree view before descending back down. Look for the Cyclone, Wonder Wheel, and Parachute Jump in the ride video
