Bike vs Car
This morning, I decided not to use the Lancaster-Morecambe cycle path. Instead, I decided to take the main road, and see how many cars and lorries I'd pass on the 2 mile stretch from my estate near ASDA, into the city centre. I reckon I passed at least 115 vehicles, and that doesn't include the load who I'd have passed if I'd taken the main one-way route around Kingsway. So, which is faster: a bicycle or a car? This video is of the BBC Children in Need fashion show at Asda Ashford. The show also featured Asda colleagues and customers strutting their stuff on a professionally produced stage set complete with catwalk! They modelled George clothing complete with BBC Children in Need T-shirts and other charity merchandise.
