Three-legged cat walking backwards
My cat Bella had her leg amputated on November 18, 2009 after she was attacked by a dog. She had no problems walking or running for about five weeks after the surgery, but then suddenly developed mobility difficulties and started walking backwards most of the time.

Captain Jack
Captain Jack came to us with a severly injured leg which unfortunately couldn't be saved. The vetrinarians at the Marin Humane Society performed a life saving amputation. As you can tell, Captain Jack doesn't seem to notice the difference. He remains active and upbeat and is looking forward to finding a home for the holidays. Tuesday, December 22nd and her rear end has severe road rash and she has no skin left on there. She also has a badly broken right leg, the bone was sticking out. We patched her up the best we could but it looks like she may need that leg amputated. As soon as our vet gets back from his vacation, she will need surgery.
