Christmas Day at Waimea Beach, North Shore, O'ahu, Hawaii. This is the place where the famous Pipeline Surfing Competition was held this year. The competition ended about one week ago here at Waimea Beach. A surfer from California won the Big Surf. This video shows waves coming into the beach. They were estimated to be about 40 to 50 feet high. The waves did reach 40+ feet. You cannot see it, but four (4) surf boards were broken in half by the monstrous waves.
