Back in high school, I met someone who I had the privilege of writing a son with with. Not only that, this person that I wrote this song with had great talent at playing lead guitar; AND he also enjoyed the same type of Country music that I enjoy. I wished Mark and I were still in contact. Mark and I both wanted to compose a song that was about growing up at home and about good moral values. Later on, one of my best friends, Kevin "Half-Black" Groover introduced the dobro into the song and I must say that it is it's this songs key signature. On this video though, Kevin is featured playing a Continental Tricone Resonator. It's not the Regal, but Kevin stills does a wonderful job.
