never experienced Christmas Eve in Uruguay! This video shot just after midnight on Christmas Eve shows that nothing is quiet and no kids are in bed! At 11:59 PM you might have though that nothing was stirring and all the kids were snugs in their beds... but a minute later all the streets exploded into an array of fireworks, noise and smoke. The smoke was so thick in some of the streets that you couldn't breath.
