This just blew my friggin mind! I was like "Holy crap!" It's the character's that aid you in "Castlevania III"! But it's not really them. It's zombie (or undead) creatures that assume the forms of them! Grant was a pirate in the original who's family had been slaughtered by the Count. Sypha was a wizard woman that had no real motive. I guess just a good spirit that wanted to aid in the destruction of Dracula. A lot of people don't know this, but she's actually the ancestor of Carrie from ...

Today I decided to play through Castlevania 3. This is the Japanese version again but I do plan on playing through the US version too. Anyway I'll be showing you the final battle against Dracula I only take one hit and Sypha is my key to winning. I'd like to thank Cornshaq for showing the strategy I used for the last two forms, the third takes a bit because the attack as you'll see sometimes just floats around and does nothing. I pause it once by mistake and I realize it pretty quick and get ...

This is actually, according to concept art, supposed to be Sypha Belnades from CV3. Carrie's "Fernandez" is another possible translation of "Belnades," which was, I guess, supposed to explain her powers. Before that this was going to be the series' recurring skull-surfing literary lesbian, Camilla / Carmilla.
