KVB activity at: Severinstraße

This station in downtown Cologne you might have heard of on the news: A few meters from it, on March 3rd, 2009, the historic city archive of Cologne and two more buildings collapsed without warning, killing two people. It is believed that this happened due to flubs during the subway contruction right underneath the street. About the station itself: It was opened in 1956 along with the new Severinsbrücke to connect it with the existing network in downtown. Today it is served by KVB routes three, four and some buses. It' the last stop on 3/4 which doesnt offer level entrance yet. If you want recordings from a certain location of Cologn'e transit network, just leave a comment!
